Cartagena: First test on Kalex
During a private test at Cartagena in Spain from 5th to 6th February, Max was able to ride on his new-Kalex Moto2 bike for the upcoming season for the first time. In this test, it was not about lap times but just about to get a first feeling for the bike and get to know his new team. Max was very satisfied at the end of the two test days.
Max: "The first day we did not drive much. It has temporarily been raining and was quite cold. I was able to use the second day under good conditions with a total of 77 laps. I am satisfied with this test, I could get to know better how my new team is working and got rid of the winter rust. I like it very much how the team is working; they are all very relaxed and know exactly what they are doing. And I did well with the bike. Now I'm looking forward to the first official test in Valencia, which starts on Wednesday."
